When photographers talk about post-processing, one of the main things we are doing is adding our unique brand of colors, grain, sharpness, softness, or smoothness to our images. When editing, we have the awesome option of just automatically adding a "preset" or pre-designed template to make our images look like our brand. Over the years, I've experimented with several presets, created my own, and struggled at times to have a consistent "brand look" as sometimes what looks great in one shot seems to change in another pending so many unique factors, including light, the personality of folks, setting, etc. I've landed on two very distinct styles that I absolutely love and now want to offer all my families: my bold/texture driven warm punchy color preset that is my most consistent style and the one that is used on these images below, which is a retro/grain/vintage preset. So when families complete their questionnaire, they can choose between of one my signature editing styles or allow me to use both!
